Another Sunday.... Passed Away!!!

Now I'm in love with Sundays more than i've ever before. No early wake up, no worries and no work. And specially no plans to be followed. In whole week, thank god, the sunday seems me the longest day.

Now it's more than 6 months at my job and i've learned a lot during these days. My skillset has improved. My thinking is changed. The only thing I don't like is it just ties me in a routine. I remember that, while I've started my job, I was told to learn some new things and I just loved to do that. But currently it seems to me that it's changed. Cause now at the end of the day we've to give the clients something that makes them happy. Anyways, it's part of the job ofcourse. As I'm getting more experienced, i'm getting to know new things and want to learn them, but on the other side getting less time out of the projects day by day. I think this may be happening to all the IT guys cause the world changes considerably in few days and we all have to keep up with it.

Btw, the sunday talk got on the side ways... :p. so, I keep the sundays to learn them. But every sunday, like this one did, just goes away in relaxation. Even if i start learning something till the other sunday comes i find some other interesting thing and i go behind it. And i think, this is better for me cause, it just dont tie me up to have interest in a single thing but I can fondel any thing that i find interesting. may be if I push those effort to a single platform, I can be an expert of it at some time. But ofcourse then it would be same as doing a project which is like going to a destination, we know where we want to go and not "surfing" the internet. So thnx to web apps to be my ride.

Anyways, the post is getting more philosophical now so time to say goodbye.

Ubiquity

Hello All,

somewhat technical side today. I was going here and thr on the net as usual, and i came across a Mozilla project called - Ubiquity. At a glance, it is a simple firefox plugin that allows us to do simple, day to day things with a few key strokes. No need to go to different sites or open different applications to do these things. They call it - User Generated Mashups. Nothing special at first sight, and rather seems geeky, but a few things done and it sounds just awesome. U'r on the same page and can do a lot of things without leaving that page.

Just chk that out at - http://tinyurl.com/5rm9k8 (this tinyURL stuff was done using it :), and i'm still writing this!!! ).

I think now only thing besides an Operating System, what people need is a 'GREAT' browser and ofcourse the Internet.
